Camp Otterbein Maintains Accreditation

Earning and maintaining accreditation from The American Camp Association takes time and commitment. Camp Otterbein’s hard work has paid off. The ACA recently released its accreditation results, and Camp Otterbein continues to be an ACA accredited camp.

The main purpose of the ACA accreditation program is to educate camp owners and directors in the administration of key aspects of camp operation, particularly those related to program quality and the health and safety of campers and staff. The camp, then, is responsible for ongoing implementation of these policies.

ACA accreditation also assists the public in selecting camps that meet industry-accepted and government-recognized standards. West Ohio Camps is blessed to have three ACA accredited camps that have met and exceeded standards for many years.

Camp Otterbein is to be commended for their dedication and hard work to keep camp safe and staff equipped. Congratulations to Program Director Andrew Templeman and Camp Director Scott Seese for a job well done.
