Camping & Retreats Are Back!

School is back, fall is in the air and some football is being played. It must mean Fall and that we survived the summer of 2020. Our Camping & Retreat Centers are reopen and feel confident to host retreat groups. We have hosted a couple overnight groups and have in place the needed guideliines of safety, health and cleaning to  make a camping experience the best possible. Call your camp director directly to discuss bookiing your event for youth, adults and families. We will continue to offer limited Family Camping as it has been very successful over the summer months. Families bunk together, do their own cooking and stay within their family group around the camp grounds. Our facilities may be limited as retreat groups book, but we are committed to continue offering this Family experience through spring. Camp Widewater unfortunatley does not have facilities that would be conducive for family camping unless bring a camper, RV or tent. One thing we have found this summer is that you just can't beat the peace and serenity of God's creation  while at camp amongst a sometimes crazy world. And that's why were're here to help create that expereince for your family or group. We are glad to be back. We pray for God's blessings as churches seek retreat in nature!

Blessings to you,
Ken Overholser – Director of Camping & Retreat Ministries
