Sometimes camp isn’t just about fun and friends. Sometimes it is about celebrating faith and sharing that with others. Campers at Camp Wesley’s Challenge and Mission Camp experienced that first hand this summer.

30 campers reached out in the name of Christ in service to others.  They spent three days off site completing service projects. They painted, made repairs, and improved landscaping at an elderly gentleman's house in Bellefontaine, Ohio

Campers also traveled to Lima, Ohio to assist the West Ohio Food Bank with its first July food distribution. They had a steady stream of cars picking up bottled water, fruits and vegetables. They helped the food bank distributed almost 100,000 pounds of food to about 600 families over the course of the day

Their efforts made a true difference in these communities. Camp Wesley counselor Cody Leidtke said, "It's been inspiring to see them kind of come together and work really, really hard."
