Otterbein Treehouse Explorer Camp
Tuesday, July 6, 2021 - 4:00pm to Thursday, July 8, 2021 - 5:00pm
Sponsored by West Ohio Conference Camping and Retreat Ministries

Explore what camp is all about! You will have all the fun of our classic Treehouse Camps, packed into three fun-filled days. You’ll get to try out some of our favorite camp activities and get a snapshot of our summer theme. This camp is great for new or younger campers.

Our treehouses are located on a secluded ridge, about ½ mile walk from the rest of camp. They are completely off the grid with no electricity or running water. You’ll learn how to start and tend a fire and how to cook outdoors. Treehouse campers journey back to the main camp every evening for dinner and to take a shower.

You will get to try out backcountry skills and have fun with activities like a treasure hunt in the woods and building a raft to float across the lake. You can also join in the fun of some of our traditional camp activities like swimming in the lake!

The theme for summer 2021 is Fearless Faith. What does it mean to be a part of a Christian community? How can the Church be a resource that gives you confidence and courage? You will explore how you are a part of the Church and what that means about how we relate to one another and the world. We will take a closer look into the stories of six different heroes from the Bible and learn from their courage. Watch how the strength of Christian community casts away fear and replaces it with fearless faith!

Health and safety are always our top priorities at Camp Otterbein. This summer, we’re taking extra steps to protect our campers and staff from the spread of COVID-19. You can read more about our COVID-19 protocols here.
