Camp Otterbein is the perfect place to host your next retreat, youth group, mission trip, or team building retreat. Just a short drive from Columbus, Ohio, Camp Otterbein offers you a chance to get away and relax in the beautiful Hocking Hills. Our staff will work with you to create an excellent experience for your group.
Every group gets access to a private meeting space during their stay. We can provide complete meal service for you, or you can prepare your own meals in our dining hall or retreat lodge kitchenettes.

We offer a variety of accomodations to fit your group's needs. Most groups choose to stay in one of our two retreat lodges with connecting restrooms, meeting room, and kitchenette. We also offer traditional cabins with nearby restrooms and many rustic camping options. For more information about our site, check out our Facilities page.
Many groups choose to enjoy some of our staff-led activities such as our climbing wall, zipline, high ropes course, low ropes team building activities, and lake swimming and canoeing durring the warmer months. We can also lead off-site trips to go kayaking on the Hocking River, rock climbing and rappeling in the Hocking State Forest, or hiking at Old Man's Cave.
Our pricing is an a la cart system based on your number of guests. Included is a meeting space for your group, pre-visit planning with our staff, and access to our grounds, hiking trails, and outdoor spaces. In recognition of the support we recieve from the United Methodist Church, we offer discounted rates for any UMC groups. We also offer special pricing for first-time groups.
