Summer is just around the corner, and Wesley Camp & Retreat Center is buzzing with excitement as we prepare to welcome campers back! To get everything ready, we’re inviting volunteers from across our West Ohio congregations to come lend a hand—and we would love for you (and your church) to be part of it.
Wesley will be hosting several volunteer work days this spring:
- March 28
- April 11
- April 18
- May 9
Each volunteer day begins on site at 9:00 AM, where we’ll gather, divide tasks, share fellowship over a provided lunch, and wrap up around 2:00 PM.
To help us plan well, please sign up here. If you're coming with a group, only one person needs to register—just note how many are attending.
As each date approaches, those who sign up will receive additional details about the specific projects planned for that day. Tasks may include trail clearing, furniture assembly, facility cleaning, organizing supplies, and more—there’s something for every skill level and age!
If you (or someone you're bringing) has a helpful specialized skill—such as construction experience or chainsaw certification—please email Camp Director Rev. Abby Lightle at alightle@wocumc.org once attendance is confirmed. Your expertise makes a meaningful difference!
