UMFWO Celebrates Transformational Spring Grant Cycle

The United Methodist Foundation of West Ohio is celebrating a transformational spring season of awarding grants to ministries and organizations across West Ohio working to meet the needs of children, youth, and young adults. These grants were awarded in two categories: Vacation Bible School Mini-Grants, and Championing Children, Youth, and Young Adults grants.

As a result, 27 programs representing all districts in West Ohio received funding, and the Foundation received over 50 applications across both categories!

“While we wish we could fund every ministry that applied, it was deeply encouraging to see the ways in which churches and faith-based organizations are working to create meaningful and holistic faith experiences for children, youth, and young adults across West Ohio,” said Program Manager, Maddy DeWitt.
