Recently, more than 90 laity and clergy attended the 2025 United Women in Faith Mission u at the Bergamo Retreat Center. This year’s theme, "Practicing Hope Together," was inspired by the book written by Tabitha Holley.
The annual three-day event was filled with worship, study, fellowship, prayer, and learning. Study topics included the biblical historical figure Mary Magdeline and a focus on Gaza and the West Bank.
Between sessions, participants joined in joyful singing led by Winston White of Asbury UMC in Columbus and heard a powerful message from Bishop Hee-Soo Jung of the Ohio Episcopal Area. The event also honored the life and ministry of Ethel Johnson, who celebrated her 100th birthday this year and has made lasting contributions to The United Methodist Church.
