The airplane West Ohio helped to purchase for the Wings of the Morning aviation ministry in the Democratic Republic of Congo recently underwent a major overhaul. Due to this, the airplane has been out of commission for nine months.
Thankfully, the engine installation is now complete, and the final step will be an avionics upgrade, which they hope to complete in early November. The airplane will be essentially "new" and should serve for another 10-15 years!
Please keep Missionary Pilot Gaston Ntambo and his wife and radio operator, Jeanne, in your prayers, as well as the tensions being experienced throughout the country.
